In the first half of 2022, the output of industrial robots in Shenzhen reached 32,000 units, with a year-on-year growth of 18%, which was 3 percentage points higher than the national average growth rate. Among them, the shipment volume of service robots exceeded 8,000 units, and medical and logistics robots accounted for over 60% of the total. In addition, Shenzhen-based robot enterprises obtained more than 1,200 new patent authorizations in the first half of the year, and the localization rate of core components increased by 5 percentage points compared with the previous year, further enhancing the independent and controllable capabilities of the industrial chain.
