The export volume to Japan reached 120 units in August alone

Shenzhen-based robot enterprise SAM has recently made new progress in its overseas expansion. Its SCARA robots have successfully entered the Japanese market in batches, with the monthly export volume to Japan reaching 120 units in August, a year-on-year increase of 60%, setting a new high for the year.

It is reported that these robots are mainly used in the precision assembly lines of Japanese electronic component manufacturers, and secured orders with a repeat positioning accuracy of 0.02mm, with a contract value exceeding 8 million yuan. Data shows that in the first 8 months of 2021, SAM's total export volume to Japan exceeded 30 million yuan, doubling compared with the same period last year. The localization rate of core components has increased to 78%, which has effectively reduced costs and helped enhance its competitiveness in the Japanese mid-end market.
